Zoland Animation Makes Its Fourth Appearance at the Digital Trade Expo, Showcasing New Vitality in Digital Culture
September 26, 2025

On September 25, the 4th Global Digital Trade Expo grandly opened at the Hangzhou Grand Convention and Exhibition Center. Wu Jia, Chairwoman of Zoland Animation, was invited to attend the opening ceremony. As an ever-present participant of the Digital Trade Expo, Zoland Animation once again took part in the event, presenting its latest achievements in digital culture and trade at Booth 3-T002 in the Digital Entertainment Hall.

On the opening day, the exhibition hall was bustling with visitors. At the Zoland Animation booth, beloved classic IP characters such as "Magic Eye" and "Rubi" greeted guests warmly, interacting with the crowd as visitors lined up to take photos. The "Su Dongpo Touring West Lake" dynamic welcome show, featuring glasses-free 3D technology, was a major highlight—where technology met traditional Chinese style, creating a unique and eye-catching scene. Adding to the charm, a cosplayer dressed in ancient attire brought Su Dongpo to life on-site, successfully capturing the attention of international visitors. Many visitors commented that this uniquely animation-styled "themed" immersive experience was both lively and approachable, allowing them to feel the unique charm of China's excellent traditional culture, while also bringing digital cultural trade into the everyday lives of the public in a more accessible way.

Zoland Animation's original "Su Dongpo" digital avatar is a regular presence at the Digital Trade Expo. This year's upgraded return of the "Su Dongpo" AI digital human undoubtedly stood out as another highlight of the Zoland Animation exhibition area. In front of the digital human holographic booth, questions came thick and fast – ranging from poetry and history to life philosophy and spontaneous interaction. "Mr. Dongpo" handled them all with ease, demonstrating remarkable conversational ability and an extensive knowledge base, earning him the reputation among visitors as the "unshakable" digital cultural ambassador.

In the IP merchandise area, the original light IP characters launched by Zoland Leyou – including Capybara, MaLou, Little Tea Fox and Friends, as well as the full debut of YimoTapir and tama&friends (Cat & Dog Pet Street) – drew a great deal of attention with their adorable designs and heartwarming art style, winning widespread popularity among younger audiences.

As the operating entity of the National Cultural Export Base – Zhejiang Digital Culture International Cooperation Zone, Zoland Animation has never stopped moving forward on its journey of going global. The exhibition showcased a series of technological applications and latest achievements, including the "Banding" Digital Culture Copyright Protection Platform, the ZOLAND Digital Culture Overseas Trading Platform, and the METai Audiovisual Translation & Dubbing Platform. These fully demonstrated innovative practices that leverage digital tools to facilitate the efficient distribution and international communication of cultural content, giving visitors a genuine sense of the charm of digital empowerment for cultural expansion overseas.

It is worth noting that this year's Digital Trade Expo launched the inaugural "Digital Trade Venture Capital Day," during which the Pioneer Award (DT Award) ceremony was held. Zoland Animation's "AI + 'Su Dongpo' Animation IP Digital Human" won the Rising Star Award. This marks the fourth consecutive year that Zoland Animation has made it to the DT Award podium – following the "Banding" Digital Culture Copyright Protection Platform's selection as a finalist in the first DT Award, the "Zhijiang No.1" AI Animation Performance Digital Platform winning the DT Award Gold in the second edition, and the "METai Audiovisual Translation & Dubbing Platform" winning the DT Award Bronze in the third edition.

The Global Digital Trade Expo is China's only national-level, international, and professional exhibition dedicated to digital trade, and has now become an important window comprehensively showcasing new technologies, products, and ecosystems in the global digital trade landscape. Zoland Animation's active participation in all four consecutive editions not only demonstrates the company's continuous exploration in digital content creation and technological integration but also reflects the robust vitality of China's digital cultural trade. Looking ahead, Zoland Animation will continue to adhere to the dual-engine "Culture + Technology" strategy, illuminating the path of cultural expansion with the light of digital innovation.
