On June 23, the economic delegation of the Chinese Business Advancement Association visited Ghana and was warmly received by President John Dramani Mahama. During the visit, entrusted by Jianrong Wu, Deputy Head of the Work Leading Group of Zhejiang Digital Culture International Cooperation Zone and Founder of Zoland Animation, Nonghe Li, President of the Chinese Business Advancement Association, donated the five-year broadcasting rights to 500 episodes of Zoland Animation’s original animated series Magic Eye Is Back to Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC). The donation conveyed Zoland Animation’s deep friendship and goodwill toward African people and aimed to promote cultural exchange between China and Ghana through the outstanding animated series. Amin Alhassan, General Manager of Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, accepted the donation and expressed his sincere appreciation and high recognition of Zoland Animation. Akushika Acquaye, Director of Ghana Broadcasting Corporation Television, the head of Ghana’s media regulatory authority, and other guests attended the donation ceremony.
Magic Eye Is Back is the latest sequel of
the Magic Eye animated series. Magic Eye is the first TV animation project in
Zhejiang to receive a production license (No. 001). As one of Zoland
Animation’s signature works, it is also a successful example of Chinese
original animation going global. The Magic Eye animated series has been
introduced into broadcasting systems in more than 130 countries and regions.
