From December 4 to 6, 2024, the 25th Asia TV Forum & Market (ATF) was held at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore. As a national key cultural export enterprise and a veteran exhibitor having participated in ATF for 20 consecutive years, Zoland Animation took part in the Zhejiang Joint Pavilion organized by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce, warmly welcoming both long-standing and new clients and partners with great enthusiasm.
The Asia TV Forum (ATF) in Singapore, as one of the most influential television content markets and conferences in the region, brings together television stations, production companies, distributors, investors, and industry elites from around the globe. On this high-level exchange platform, Zoland Animation, leveraging its solid professional capabilities, conducted over 40 business meetings with 35 companies from more than 10 countries and regions, including the United States, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Sri Lanka, and Brazil, covering a range of professional areas such as content acquisition, licensing, and merchandise development.
At this year's ATF, Zoland Animation not only showcased its classic original works such as Rubi and Magic Eye Is Back, but also launched new animated titles rich in traditional Chinese cultural elements, including Legendary Su Dongpo and Legend of King Qian, along with dozens of animated and digital audiovisual content represented through the "Zoland Overseas Distribution Platform." These offerings attracted many buyers from different countries for negotiations, helping to expand the company's business scope. A client from Sri Lanka expressed strong interest in both Zoland's original and represented works as well as their derivatives, with both parties conducting detailed discussions on cooperation lists. Meanwhile, a US client, purchasing content for AI training, expressed interest in Zoland's original content library and its represented domestic and international animation titles.
Zoland Animation also held meetings with multiple partners to advance co-production projects and platform promotion initiatives, and to define the next steps in its work plan.
In terms of content distribution and representation, Zoland Animation not only deepened its collaboration with long-term Philippine partner ABS-CBN, but also engaged in discussions with potential Indian partner Zee Entertainment and others, negotiating the representation of their produced films, TV series, and documentaries – further enriching its distribution catalog.
This year's ATF not only provided Zoland Animation with a valuable opportunity to showcase its strengths and expand its international market presence, but also further solidified its position as a representative of Chinese animation on the global stage. Looking ahead, Zoland Animation will continue to uphold its development philosophy of openness, collaboration, and innovation-driven growth, deepen communication and cooperation with global partners, and jointly advance the internationalization of China's animation industry – bringing more high-quality and diverse animated content to audiences around the world.
