August 10, 2024

With the goals of boosting the vibrant growth of the animation and game industry, and delivering quality, reputation, and innovation, the Beijing Animation and Game Industry Association recently announced the winners of the second "Kylin Cup Animation IP Promotion Project" commendation event in Beijing. The "Zoland Overseas Trading Platform" submitted by Zoland Animation was honored with the sole "Best International Partner" award.

Since its establishment over two decades ago, Zoland Animation has adhered to the principles of "high standards, substantial investment, and internationalization," and has been consistently promoting the global distribution of Chinese film, television, and animation audiovisual content. Leveraging its existing domestic and international animation distribution resources, Zoland Animation has built the Zoland Overseas Distribution Trading Platform, which establishes an online licensing and distribution channel between international buyers and global animation IP holders. Global animation IP holders can upload trailers, pre-licensing information, dubbing and subtitling details, and other relevant content to the platform, while content buyers can browse, select, and complete transactions online. The Zoland Overseas Distribution Trading Platform continues to help outstanding original Chinese animation audiovisual works gain visibility worldwide, actively contributing to the global expansion of Chinese animation!

It is reported that the 2024 Kylin Cup Animation IP Promotion Project aims to recommend outstanding works that resonate with the market, recognize and encourage enterprises and individuals who demonstrate innovative thinking and a pioneering spirit within the industry, and honor companies, products, and individuals that have made outstanding contributions to advancing the animation and game industry and enhancing brand value. Since the application channel opened on June 21, nearly 300 projects have entered the competition. Following a rigorous selection and evaluation process, the expert review panel ultimately recommended 35 award-winning projects, which were announced on August 3. The successful hosting of this event not only facilitated international exchanges within the animation and game industry and related sectors, but also built a solid platform for cross-sector collaboration between domestic and international cultural industries. It is expected to further enhance the international competitiveness of China's animation and game industry and promote high-quality development across the sector.
