From June 4 to 9, local time, the 2024 Rio Creative Conference (Rio2C) was successfully held. Coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Brazil, Zoland Animation, along with several other Chinese audiovisual organizations, appeared at the event as part of the China Joint Pavilion, presenting outstanding audiovisual programs to Brazilian audiences and showcasing China's rich culture and advanced technologies in the audiovisual sector to South America and the world.
At this exhibition, Zoland Animation presented its classic original IP series including *Magic Eye Is Back* and *Rubi*, along with its new masterwork *Legendary Su Dongpo*, as well as represented titles such as *Layla's Life*, *Doggy Adventure*, and *See You Again*.
During the Rio Creative Conference, the "Visions of China" – Culture and Business Opportunities Promotion Conference and Chinese Audiovisual Program Screening, guided by the State Council Information Office and the National Radio and Television Administration, and hosted by China Broadcasting International Co., Ltd., was held at the City of Arts in Rio, with the venue packed to capacity.
Ms. Samantha WONG, Director of Zoland Animation's International Department, stated during the promotion that Zoland Animation has always been committed to producing quality animated works that have been widely broadcast both at home and abroad and have been well received by audiences. The new work Legendary Su Dongpo presented this time combines traditional Chinese culture while also taking into account the viewing perspective of global audiences. She expressed confidence that Brazilian viewers will be moved by Su Dongpo's story of humility, optimism, and kindness, and that through this series, a door will open for Brazilian audiences to better understand traditional Chinese culture.
During this exhibition, clients from many countries and regions engaged in in-depth exchanges with Zoland Animation, showing great interest in several of the company's works.
It is reported that the Rio Creative Conference (Rio2C) in Brazil was founded in 2010 and is currently the largest and most influential comprehensive audiovisual platform in South America. This participation is part of Zoland Animation's annual exhibition plan of nearly 20 international events this year! Zoland Animation will continue to explore new opportunities in international markets and promote the global expansion of Chinese film, television, and animation content.
