On March 14, the 2024 Hong Kong International Film & TV Market (FILMART), organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), came to a close at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. During this event, Zoland Animation showcased a number of finely produced audiovisual works, further expanding its international network and presenting the appeal of Chinese animated and film productions to global buyers.
During this exhibition, in addition to its classic original IP series such as Magic Eye Is Back and Rubi, Zoland Animation also promoted its new masterwork Legendary Su Dongpo. Furthermore, digital platforms including the "Zhijiang No.1" AI Animation Performance Platform, the "Banding" Digital Culture Copyright Protection Platform, and the ZOLAND Digital Culture Overseas Trading Platform – all part of the Zhejiang Digital Culture International Cooperation Zone – were presented, along with recommended works from enterprises based in the cooperation zone, such as Doggy Adventure and Transform Alliance: Super Battle God.
Through online invitations and other means, Zoland Animation held nearly 60 business meetings on-site with 43 companies from 19 countries and regions, including Japan, South Korea, Singapore, the United States, India, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Cyprus, among others – with notable names such as ABSCBN, Juita Viden, and UVOtv. The meetings successfully matched the content acquisition needs of overseas buyers, and also resulted in cooperation intentions with both domestic and international IP rights holders regarding the overseas distribution representation of their works.
