From November 23 to 27, the 2nd Global Digital Trade Expo was held at the Hangzhou Expo Center. As a benchmark enterprise in the animation industry, Zoland Animation once again made a brilliant appearance, presenting a comprehensive showcase of its latest achievements in digital culture.
At Hall 1C, the Digital Content Hall, Zoland Animation crafted eight themed exhibition and experience zones under the banner of "Staying True to Our Original Aspiration, Pursuing Dreams Forward" in celebration of its 20th anniversary, offering visitors a diverse range of immersive digital-physical integrated experiences.
The booth drew a steady stream of visitors, creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. The "Rubi" welcome show, featuring glasses-free 3D technology, delivered a stunning visual impact, while the "breaking out of the screen" visual effect brought Zoland Animation's beloved classic IP characters — Rubi, Magic Eye, Su Dongpo, and Baolilong — to life one after another. The cute and lively mascot interactions ignited the crowd, attracting visitors of all ages, with international guests also eagerly lining up to take photos.
Visitors came drawn by reputation, were captivated by the booth as they passed by, or found themselves unable to look away... A wide variety of Zoland Animation's original IP merchandise and official licensed products of the Asian Games proved highly popular with the audience, often surrounded by eager crowds. Many visitors even chose them as souvenirs to bring home to friends and family.
The interactive experience, which deeply integrates "content + digital" technologies, is a defining highlight of Zoland Animation's exhibition. Alongside the display of digital platform achievements such as "Zhijiang No.1," "Banding," "ZolandTV," and the newly launched "METai Audiovisual Translation & Dubbing Platform," the booth also presented a range of digital cultural consumption scenarios. Through the holographic digital human booth, visitors could break through the boundary between virtual and real, instantly step into the metaverse, and have immersive encounters with animated IP characters including Su Dongpo, King Qian, and Magic Eye. Meanwhile, "Yuanhu" – a globally unique metaverse digital collectible in the form of avatar-style NFTs – also made its appearance at this expo. The diverse range of Yuanhu avatar collectibles and their derivative cultural and creative products showcased a new generation of the Yuanhu metaverse that embraces cross-industry collaboration, user-centric thinking, and openness and diversity. Additionally, the "Shupuyin" AI printing service attracted visitors to create customized animation-themed souvenir stamps on-site.
The "Zhijiang No.1" AI Animation Performance Digital Platform has built the largest AI animation performance digital studio of its kind in Asia, with over 1,000 square meters of floor space and independent intellectual property rights. The studio supports motion capture and performance filming for more than 10 people simultaneously, and enables intelligent, systematic production and scenario-based application throughout the entire digital content creation process. It provides robust support for the integration of animation IPs with cultural creativity, education, and cultural tourism, significantly advancing the innovative development of the digital cultural and creative industry. Previously, the "Zhijiang No.1" AI Animation Performance Platform had been selected for the "2021–2022 National Cultural Export Key Projects," the "Second Batch of Innovative Practice Cases for National Cultural Export Bases," and the "2021 Zhejiang Provincial Outstanding Innovative Cases in Cultural Industry." This also marks the second time that Zoland Animation has made it to the podium of the DT Award at the Digital Trade Expo, following the "Banding" platform's finalist selection at the inaugural DT Award.
At the same time, Zoland Animation was also listed on the "2023 Zhejiang Top 100 Digital Trade Enterprises" ranking. Among the 2023 Zhejiang Provincial Outstanding Innovation Application Cases in Digital Trade announced on-site, Zoland Animation's "Banding" Digital Culture Copyright Protection Platform won the third prize.
