From November 5 to 10, the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held in Shanghai, bringing together over 3,000 exhibitors from 154 countries, regions, and international organizations to explore new market opportunities and jointly promote global economic recovery. Zoland Animation presented its classic IPs including Magic Eye and Su Dongpo at the China Pavilion of the expo.
This year’s China Pavilion was themed “Chinese Modernization, New Opportunities for the World.” At the digital culture industry booth in the Hangzhou Free Trade Zone, Zoland Animation presented its original animated characters from series such as Jiuyu and Magic Eye—including Yang Xiaoyi, Xiangling, Su Dongpo, and Wang Chaoyun—as holographic digital humans, drawing on‑site visitors to stop and watch.
Zoland Animation’s holographic digital humans are virtual avatars created by integrating digital technologies such as intelligent digital humans and holographic light‑field displays, and built using AI‑based animation performance technology. They offer a widely popular metaverse experience, featuring novel presentations, diverse application scenarios, and strong interactive engagement.
Through this approach, traditional culture and animation IPs can leverage digital technology to extend their industrial chains, integrating with commerce, cultural tourism, and other sectors to create new digital cultural consumption scenarios. This enriches the products, services, and models of cultural trade, helping outstanding traditional culture and animation IPs to “go viral” and “go global.”
