The series is based on the famous traditional Chinese folklore "Warriors of the Yang Family", which tells the legend of the Yang clan led by "Yang liulang" fighting against invaders. It reinterprets the famous story with the keywords of "loyalty", "patriotism"and "striving", and takes the growth story of Yang yanzhao (Yang liulang) as the plotline to not only show the magnificent picture scroll of the Northern Song Dynasty against the Liao Dynasty but also let the audiences witness the confusion and growth of the younger generations. To inspire the patriotism of the teenagers and to cultivate the New Era“Yang Generals”through animation.
